CLASS OF 2024 KEY INFORMATION AND APPLICATION
Application deadline is March 22, 2024 - only 20 participants will be accepted into the program.
The fee to participate covers ALL expenses for the meetings and outings, which includes meals, transportation and all program materials and equipment.
This can be paid by an employer who is sponsoring your participation, or yourself as an individual.
Leadership Glen Rose is a dynamic community-centric initiative spearheaded by the Glen Rose Somervell County Chamber of Commerce.
The goals of the program:
- Create servant leaders - putting an emphasis on community involvement and engagement;
- Provide behind-the-scenes look into anything and everything Glen Rose/Somervell County;
- Showcase the importance of personal development, self-care and intentional living;
- Give attendees/members tremendous networking opportunity;
- Create raving fans for Glen Rose and Somervell County.
The Selection Committee is seeking applicants who:
- Have a sincere commitment, motivation and interest to serve the local community, commerce and interests;
- Have demonstrated their commitment through involvement in community and industry activities;
- Are interested in and plan to seek positions on boards, committees or key leadership roles in the community;
- Have exhibited a capacity for learning, leading and team building.
Nomination Criteria for Leadership Glen Rose (for employers and sponsoring organizations) :
- Community Advocate
- Emerging Leader - Young professionals displaying exceptional leadership potential.
- Industry Innovator - Professionals contributing significantly to their respective fields.
- Diverse Perspectives - Individuals representing diverse backgrounds, cultures, and industries.
- Collaborative Spirit
- Visionary Thinker - Forward-thinking individuals with a clear vision for Glen Rose's future.
Tentative Timeline (Sessions will begin and end in Glen Rose; transportation during session will be provided by Leadership GR; all dates are potentially subject to change.)

April 1: Announce Leadership GR Class of 2024
April TBD: Kickoff Event (early evening in Glen Rose)
May 14: Team Building (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
June 11: Session I (11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
July 9: Session II (11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
August 13: Session III (11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
September 10: Session IV (11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
October 8: Session V (11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
November 12: Session VI (11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
December 10: Graduation (11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
